Viewing and adjusting information for individual sensors

This article will elaborate on how to edit additional information for an individual sensor such as adding pictures, adjusting its placement on a blueprint, activating alerts, and sharing access.

Details tab

You can view and change the sensor name and description by pressing on the edit icon that pops up, when you hoover over the sensor ID.

Pictures tab

Here you can view and upload photos of how and where has the sensor been installed. It is recommended to upload photos as soon as you install and register a sensor. Read more about that in the Getting Started section.

Positioning tab

This tab allows you to see where the sensor is located on a blueprint. You can also adjust the placement of the sensor from here by first unlocking the blueprint, resetting the sensor position and then dragging and dropping the sensor to the desired place. What is more, you are provided with a video that shows value progression of the sensor readings over a chosen period of time.

Alerts tab

In the Alerts tab you have an overview of the alerts the sensor has sent out, as well as, what are the active alert rules for the specific device. You can also toggle on and off specific alert rules or entirely disable all alerts.

Access tab

In the Access tab you can see who has access to the sensor and you can invite other people to view this specific sensor. If you want to share many sensors with other members of your team, we suggest sharing group access instead of individual sensors, as that will save you a lot of time.
