# Custom alerts

An Intelligent Moisture alert is a notification system provided by Tector, designed to keep you informed about any irregularities detected by your moisture sensors. These notifications can be delivered via email.

Tector's alert system offers flexibility and customization options to suit your unique needs. 

**Custom alerts:**

Custom alerts offer tailored solutions to address specific scenarios. Users can define a set of alert criteria, which must all be met before an alert is issued. Criteria are established by selecting parameters, operators, and values, allowing for precise customization. All alerts, whether built-in or custom, can be easily activated or deactivated for individual sensors at any time, providing you with control and flexibility over your monitoring system.
